Chinese WPL After-School Mandarin program
The after school Mandarin program provides a warm and relaxed learning experience. Our teachers facilitate the children’s learning through Chinese art, songs, games, stories, and other age-appropriate activities. Students are grouped according to their grades, language proficiency, test evaluation, and teachers suggestion. Students learn Mandarin just as they learn English--by living it. These classes will be taught entirely in Mandarin, so that students will be immersed in a Chinese-speaking environment. Through meaningful content and engaging activities, children will acquire Chinese fluency and the disposition to be life-long learners of the language. The classes are grouped by the student’s grade and Mandarin Language proficiency. (Class times 35/53/31)
Class Time:
Sunset Campus
Level one (classroom 201): K-1 grade: 3:15 - 4:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday
Level two (classroom 202): 2-3 grade: 4:00 - 5:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Sloat campus:
Level Three( Classroom 201): 4-5 and up grade: 3:30 - 5:00, Monday and Friday
Fees:
Spring Semester(January to May, 2020)
Tuition: K-1 grade $630 2-3 grade $1,192.5 4-5 and up grade:$790.5
There is no after school program on 1/20, 2/17-18,3/27,4/10, 4/13-17,4/27, 5/25
Important Dates:
Chinese Culture week and recital: 2/10-21
Assessment test: 5/11-15
