About Us 关于我们

Mei Jia Chinese Learning Center is a multi-faceted Mandarin language and Chinese cultural learning center. We offer a morning program for preschoolers, an after-school program for elementary students, summer camp, and weekend program for all students at different ages and levels. We maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio so that each student receives individualized instruction. Many students from our program have advanced their language journeys by passing AP Chinese classes and continuing Mandarin studies through college courses. Other students have won awards in Chinese calligraphy and poetry contests, such as the Chinese Bridge Cup Recital and Calligraphy Contests, CLTAC (Chinese Language Teachers Association of California), and more. Please check out our activity photos here.

In-Person Before School & After school Mandarin Programs

The safety and health of our students is our top priority, particularly during cold and flu season as well as COVID-19. We will limit in-person Mandarin program size in addition to incorporating more outdoor activities for social distancing purposes. In place of our previously held performance parties to showcase the children’s newly acquired language skills, we will instead send the families a short video about the program activities and the Mandarin the students have learned. Registration will be first come, first served. Please sign up your child as soon as possible before it is full, and due to the smaller group Mandarin program this year.
