The after school Mandarin program provides a warm and relaxed learning experience. The teacher will facilitate the children’s learning through Chinese art, songs, games, stories, and other age-appropriate activities. These classes will be taught entirely in Mandarin, so that students will be immersed in a Chinese-speaking environment. Through meaningful content and engaging activities, children will acquire Chinese fluency and the disposition to be life-long learners of the language. The classes will meet two times a week and will be grouped by the student’s grade level (Grades K-2 and Grades 3-5).  Please note that there is a minimum of 6 students required to enroll in order to host the class at Hillcrest.
