Hebei Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Chamber of Commerce are excited to offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students who have studied with Mei Jia or have volunteer leadership experience with Mei Jia to embark on an unforgettable journey to China. This enriching program will immerse participants in the Chinese language and culture, providing an invaluable educational and cultural experience.
It is designed for American students aged 12-18 who have a foundation in Chinese or a strong interest in learning the language.
During this 10-day cultural adventure (July 20-29, 2025), participants will:
✅ Enhance their Mandarin skills through interactive classes and daily practice
✅ Engage in hands-on cultural activities, such as calligraphy, martial arts, and traditional crafts
✅ Explore historical landmarks in Beijing, Heibei province and other locations gaining deeper insight into China’s rich heritage
✅ Build meaningful connections with local students, fostering global friendships
A detailed itinerary will be provided to parents or guardian once the application is reviewed and approved for the program.
The program is fully hosted upon arrival, covering accommodations, meals, and activities. Families are responsible for international airfare.
To ensure a safe and rewarding experience, participants should be in good health, independent, and eager to embrace new cultural experiences.

费用：国际旅费自理，落地后主办单位全程接待承担费用。

Who: Students aged 12–18 with a basic foundation in Mandarin and an interest in Mandarin language and culture.
Where: Beijing and Hebei Province, China
When: July 20–29, 2025
Requirements: Must be in good health, have strong self-care abilities, and possess a basic knowledge of Chinese or an interest in learning Chinese.
Cost: International travel expenses are self-funded; all expenses after arrival will be covered by the hosting organization.
After the application is reviewed and confirmed, a teacher’s recommendation letter and additional application materials and application fee may be required for qualified applicants.
